9TH GRADE ACADEMY'S MISSION STATEMENT
By providing an enriching, individualized and valuable 9th grade experience, we empower students to grow into accountable, focused and skillful young adults demonstrated by their ability to pass challenging courses, communicate well with others, and behave in a courteous and respectful way toward themselves and others.
We believe…
1. All students can learn, with the appropriate attention and intervention.
2. Parents are an integral part of a student’s success and will be provided opportunities to be involved in their growth and development.
3. Open communication between parents and the 9th grade Galaxy Academy teachers is vital for students’ success and the success of the program.
4. Teachers and Administrators will provide an enriching, individualized and valuable 9th grade experience, enabling students to become responsible, focused and skillful.
5. Strong teacher encouragement and the establishment of an environment conducive for learning are necessary for a positive student/teacher relationship.
